Iranian Revolutionary Guards: Victory in Yemen is coming soon
"Yemen is now on the brink of victory," said the commander-in-chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari. "Yemeni forces defeated the Arab-Western alliance in the battle of Mina al-Hodeidah."
"The victories achieved by the people in Iraq, Lebanon and Syria came as a result of following the Iranian Islamic revolution," he said in a speech at Tehran University on Tuesday. "Over the past 40 years, many achievements have been achieved, including the Islamic awakening and the effects of the Islamic revolution in the region And the world. "
Commenting on a report by the Institute of Studies of the US Congress pointed out that Iran has the largest missile arsenal in the region, Jafari said that "our missile capabilities are based on our scientific capabilities."
"We are able to increase the range of our missiles to more than 2000 kilometers, but this is not our policy at the present time because many of the objectives and interests of the enemy are within this range, so the Americans should not go into the military field."
The statements of the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards coincide with the continuation and intensification of the battles in the Yemeni city of Hodeidah.
Yemeni forces backed by the Saudi-led Arab alliance entered the main complex of the Hodeidah International Airport in Yemen on Tuesday, Reuters reported.
The Anatolia news agency quoted a military source as saying that "government forces stormed the airport and engaged in violent clashes in its vicinity."
