The Israeli army delivers humanitarian aid to the Syrians in the Golan Heights
The Israeli army transferred a special military operation to the Syrians fleeing their towns in the Golan Heights camps on the Syrian side of Khima, food, medical equipment and clothes
On Friday morning, the Israeli army released a statement in which it said that its forces had at night transferred humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees in camps in the Golan Heights. According to the statement, the army transferred the aid to four areas and the operation took about 3 hours.
The army said the aid included 300 tents, 13 tons of food, 15 tons of baby food, 3 pads carrying medical equipment and medicines, and 30 tons of clothing and footwear.
The statement pointed out that the aid was transferred to the refugees in the south and center of the Golan Heights on the Syrian side, where thousands of Syrians live in difficult humanitarian conditions cut off from electricity, water and food. The army said the number of refugees in these areas had increased in recent days.
The army said it was closely monitoring field developments in southern Syria and was ready to grant more humanitarian aid but would not allow Syrian refugees into Israel.
