The Mexican government confirmed that seismometers had spotted an earthquake in the country when the team scored their only goal against Germany in Sunday's World Cup Group Russia 2018 match.
The Geological Research Institute reported that an earthquake shook the country because of the joy of the hysterical fans and jumped to celebrate the goal of Lozano in the net of Manuel Noir.
At least two sensors detected seismic activity at the time the target was recorded, according to the Mexican seismological network via Twitter.
Mexico had their first win at the World Cup to embarrass coach Joachim Loew, who sought to maintain the title as one of the top candidates for the championship.
Although the only goal of the match came in the 34th minute, the machine team failed in all attempts to draw and exit at least one point.
The next game for Mexico will be against South Korea before the Sweden team at the end of the group stage.
