The trial of a British man who planned to assassinate Teresa Mai began
A supporter of the terrorist organization Da'ash, who planned to assassinate British Prime Minister Theresa May in a suicide attack, has started in Britain.
During the court hearing, Attorney General Mark Haywood said that Na'imur Zakaria Rahman, a 20-year-old London-born, was planning a suicide attack on Theresa May at Downing Street and her assassination with a "knife and detonation."
His plan was unveiled last September and MI5 agents continued to be identified as "push" agents.
The prosecutor presented the letters exchanged by the accused with the intelligence men, in which he spoke of his desire to join a sleeper cell of the organization "Daash" and targeting the headquarters of the British parliament with a suicide bombing and the assassination of Teresa Mai. Rahman also praised the striker of the Manchester attack.
Na'imur Zacarias Rahman was arrested last November, days before his plans were carried out, prosecutors said.
In addition to Rehman, a second young man, Mohammed Akeib Omran (22, from Birmingham, England), is scheduled to go to Syria to join the Da'ash organization. Rahman is also accused of helping Amran in his preparations for travel to Syria.
Rahman denied all charges against him.
He was reportedly offended by one of his relatives, who went to Syria and was killed in a raid by the alliance.
