Rounding out our law clerk team is Sozit Mohamed:
Sozit is in her 2nd year of law school at Howard University, where she serves as the Vice President of the Muslim Law Student Association. Her cases here at OHR so far have been primarily discrimination in public accommodation based on national origin.
Sozit told us, “As a child of immigrants, I’m very interested in immigration advocacy work and closing the gap between immigrants’ arrival to the US and achieving full citizenship.”
