A statement from the senior leadership of the Kordofan Development Association.
The deliberate neglect of the Sudanese countryside that followed the revolutionary change in April 2019 CE; It has awakened the just demands of the people of the countryside, including the masses of Kordofan. We supported the demands of the people of the East in addressing their chronic problems as an expression of demands in the Sudanese countryside for development and the removal of the old and renewed injustice. That is why we will continue to support the rural forces in the north as they are just and legitimate demands that must be responded to as soon as possible to achieve popular satisfaction. We proceed from the Juba Peace Agreement (October 2020 AD), whose main goal is to do justice to the marginal people in the entire Sudanese countryside. We are confident that the serious, accurate and equitable implementation of the agreement is capable of solving all of Sudan’s issues away from the deceptions of the center and the “margin centrioles,” which seek to empty marginal issues of their social content and limit them to a scramble for positions and privileges.
We in the Kordofan Development Association believe that our people in West Kordofan areas have urgent humanitarian issues related to environmental pollution from oil extraction operations. Cancer diseases have spread. Big companies do not think about people's concerns. Their project is profits and more profits. International laws impose on companies a social, humane and legal responsibility to correct the environment and provide social development for the people of the region, and this is an inevitable right. For this reason, we support with all energy the masses of the region in all their demands and their peaceful social escalation, even to the point of closing the oil pipeline. We ask the governments of Sudan and South Sudan to understand the demands of the people who are exposed to daily death due to disease, poverty, illiteracy and environmental pollution.
We in the Kordofan Development Association call on all the political movement to adopt rural development issues in West Kordofan, and we call on all peace-loving forces in Sudan and the world to support the cause of the people of the areas affected by oil extraction. We also ask our people to adhere to their demands and not to respond to pressures and the weight of crises, so that they do not deviate from their path, which they were known for, of patriotism, wisdom, unlimited capacity for steadfastness and cohesion, and their commitment to peaceful solutions.
We in the Kordofan Development Association follow the darkening of the political horizon and the closing of the door to the frank and transparent national dialogue that accommodates all the sons of the country. This dire political reality has re-blew up the street and brought back the police state in which blood is wasted and young people disappear. We need a practical vision to stop violence and political chaos, because we appreciate that the real abort of the Juba Agreement creates an environment suitable for grievances, a sense of injustice, and ignoring just popular demands. Peace is of no value if it does not guarantee the safety of our children. Injustice and the achievement of development and reconstruction, it has practically fallen and no longer exists and does not express the hopes and aspirations of the masses of the Sudanese countryside, which we represent and express their aspirations and aspirations.
We in the Kordofan Development Community are concerned about the current political situation that our country is experiencing, from grinding prices that are exhausting the vast majority of people, the blockage of the political horizon, and all parties being relegated to their unilateral conceptions of the transition, closing the door for dialogue and serious thinking about completing the institutions of the transitional period and developing the constitutional trust until the country reaches for free, fair and transparent elections. The difficult political situation re-blew up the street in periodic demonstrations, impeding the daily life of low-income people and increasing their suffering. It also brought the police state back to the surface, so the death toll of the demonstrations' martyrs increased, and the number of detainees began to escalate. The role of the Kordofan Association for Development in the peace process was linked to the Juba Peace Agreement, which we still adhere to and abide by all provisions. We believe that the agreement is facing the most serious test as a result of political instability and the escalating lawlessness in prices. This is why we point to the risks and the development of regional crises, especially in West Kordofan. They are just and legitimate aspirations that are inseparable from the aspirations and hopes of all the people of the rising Sudan countryside. As we represent the hopes and aspirations of the Sudanese countryside, we feel the gravity of the situation. This is why we sound the alarm to everyone about stability, and we tell them for the sake of Sudan, security and stability, come to a common word.
Long live Sudan united by its national will.
* No to bloodshed, arrests and enforced disappearances.
* No to power violence against the rural toilers.
* No to death from disease and cancer in West Kordofan.

بيان من القيادة العليا لتجمع كردفان للتنمية.
ان الاهمال المتعمد للريف السوداني الذي اعقب التغيير الثوري في ابريل ٢٠١٩ م؛ قد ايقظ المطالب العادلة لاهل الريف كله ومنهم جماهير كردفان . دعمنا مطالب اهل الشرق في معالجة مشاكلهم المزمنة باعتبارها تعبير عن مطالب في الريف السوداني من اجل التنمية وازلة الغبن القديم المتجدد. لهذا سنظل ندعم قوى الريف في الشمال باعتبارها مطالب عادلة وشرعية لامناص من الاستجابة لها باعجل مايكون بما يحقق الرضا الشعبي. نحن ننطلق من ان اتفاق سلام جوبا ( اكتوبر ٢٠٢٠ م) الذي غايته الاساسية انصاف انسان الهامش في الريف السوداني كله . و نثق ان الانفاذ الجدي الدقيق المنصف للاتفاق قادر على حل كل قضايا السودان بعيدا عن احابيل المركز و" مريكز الهامش" اللذان يسعيان لافراغ قضايا الهامش من محتواها الاجتماعي وحصرها في تكالب على المناصب والامتيازات.
نحن في تجمع كردفان للتنمية نعتقد ان اهلنا في مناطق غرب كردفان لهم قضايا انسانية عاجلة تتصل بالتلوث البيئي من عمليات استخراج النفط . فقد انتشرت الامراض السرطانية فالشركات الكبرى لا تفكر في هموم الناس فمشروعها الارباح ومزيد من الارباح. فالقوانين الدولية تفرض على الشركات مسؤلية اجتماعية انسانية وقانونية باصحاح البيئة وتقديم تنمية اجتماعية لانسان المنطقة وهذا حق لابد منه. من اجل هذا ندعم بكل الطاقة جماهير المنطقة في كل مطالبهم وتصعيدهم الاجتماعية السلمي حتى ان وصل الى اغلاق انبوب النفط. ونطلب من حكومتي دولتي السودان وجنوب السودان تفهم مطالب الاهالي الذين يتعرضون للموت اليومي بسبب المرض والفقر والامية والتلوث البيئي.
نحن في تجمع كردفان للتنمية ندعو كل الحركة السياسية لتبني قضايا التنمية الريفية في غرب كردفان و ندعو كل القوى المحبة للسلام على مستوى السودان والعالم دعم قضية اهالي المناطق المتضررة من استخراج النفط. كما نطلب من ابناء شعبنا التمسك بمطالبهم وعدم الاستجابة للضغوط وثقل الازمات فلايخرجوا عن مسارهم الذي عرفوا به من الوطنية والحكمة والقدرة غير المحدودة للصمود والتماسك والتزامهم بالحلول السلمية.
نحن في تجمع كردفان للتنمية نتابع انساداد الافق السياسي واغلاق باب الحوار الوطني الصريح الشفاف الذي يستوعب كل ابناء الوطن .هذا الواقع السياسي المأزوم اعاد تفجير الشارع واعاد الدولة البوليسية التي تهدر فيها الدماء ويختفي فيها الشباب. نحتاج رؤيا عملية لوقف العنف والانفلات السياسي لاننا نقدر ان الاجهاض الحقيقي لاتفاق جوبا في خلق بيئة مناسبة للتطاحن والشعور بالظلم وتجاهل المطالب الشعبية العادلة ، فالسلام لاقيمة له اذا لا يضمن سلامة ابناءنا ، فاذا لم يقف السلام على قاعدة حفظ سلامة الدماء وكرامة ابناء الوطن وجبر الضرر ورفع الظلم وتحقيق التنمية والاعمار فانه عمليا يكون قد سقط ولم يعد له وجود ولا يعبر عن امال وطموحات جماهير الريف السوداني التي نمثلها ونعبر عن طموحاتها وتطلعاتها.
نحن في تجمع كردفان للتنمية نشعر بالقلق من الوضع السياسي الراهن التي تعيشه بلادنا ، من غلاء طاحن يرهق السواد الاعظم من الناس ، وانسداد الافق السياسي وتمترس كافة الاطراف حول تصوراتها الاحادية للانتقال واغلاق باب الحوار والتفكير الجدي في اكمال مؤسسات الفترة الانتقالية وتطوير الوثقية الدستورية حتى تصل البلاد لانتخابات حرة ونزيهة وشفافة. الوضع السياسي المازوم اعاد تفجير الشارع في تظاهرات دورية اعاقة الحياة اليومية لمحدود الدخل وزادت من معانتهم ، كما اعاد الدولة البوليسية للواجه فزادت حصائل شهداء التظاهرات ، واخذت تتصاعد ارقام المعتقلين. ان دور تجمع كردفان للتنمية في العملية السلمية ارتبط باتفاق جوبا للسلام الذي مازلنا نتمسك به ونلتزم بكافة بنود. نعتقد ان الاتفاق يواجه اخطر امتحان جراء عدم الاستقرار السياسي والانفلات المتصاعد في الاسعار ، لهذا نؤشر للمخاطر وتطور ازمات المناطقية لاسيما في غرب كردفان هي طموحات عادلة ومشروعة لاتنفصل عن طموحات وامال كل اهل الريف السودان المنتفض الان. ونحن اذ نمثل امال وتطلعات الريف السوداني نشعر بخطورة الاوضاع لهذا ندق ناقوس الخطر للجميع من الاستقرار ونقول لهم من اجل السودان والامن والاستقرار تعالوا الى كلمة سواء.
*عاش السودان موحدا بارادته الوطنية.
* لا للدماء والاعتقالات والاختفاءات القسرية.
* لا لعنف السلطة ضد كادحي الريف.
* لا للموت بالمرض والسرطان في غرب كردفان.

The situation in Sudan is worrying, especially in the oil-producing areas of West Kordofan, where there is a wide spread of diseases due to oil production, which threatens millions of people with cancer and death. It is clear that the central government is preoccupied to the fullest extent with the contradictions of the political transition that is in crisis due to left and right extremism, and the periodic demonstrations and extremism continue to reject dialogue by central political forces that do not value the growing crises of the regions, which are expected to paralyze economic life and may push the population to close the oil pipeline, which causes a series of crises in Sudan We believe that the statement raises alarm and calls for our attention to it as soon as possible.
