يستعد البرتغالي كريستيانو رونالدو نجم فريق ريال مدريد لاستلام جائزة الحذاء الذهبي الأربعاء القادم، المقدمة من الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم يوفا لأفضل هداف في الموسم.
وسجل رونالدو 31 هدفا في الموسم الماضي ويشترك مع الأوروغواني لويس سواريز مهاجم برشلونة وليفربول السابق في الجائزة، إلا أن الأخير تسلمها من فترة في برشلونة، في الوقت الذي رفض فيه الدون تسلم الجازئة في أرض خصمه اللدود.
وكانت المرة الأولى التي فاز رونالدو بالحذاء الذهبي في موسم 2007-2008 عندما كان يلعب لمانشستر يونايتد تحت قيادة السير أليكس فيرغسون، وسجل وقتها 31 هدفا، كما فاز مع الشياطين الحمر بدوري أبطال أوروبا.
وفي 2010-2011 توج رونالدو بالجائزة للمرة الثانية بقميص ريال مدريد، حيث سجل 41 هدفا متفوقا على الرقم القياسي لـ زارا وهوغو سانشيز بـ38 هدفا.
ويبدو أن رونالدو مصر على الفوز بهذه الجائزة للمرة الرابعة، حيث أن يقدم هذا الموسم مستوى ممتازا، فقد سجل حتى الآن 16 هدفا في الدوري الإسباني.
