Tehran regrets what was stated in the final communiqué of the Arab summit
TEHRAN - Iran on Sunday expressed its regret over the final statement of the 29th Arab summit hosted by Saudi Arabia in Dhahran.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasimi said: "We regret some of the items contained in the final statement of the Dhahran summit"
Bahram Qasimi stressed that the statement is full of false lies and repeated, and overlooks the causes of the crises experienced by the region.
Qassimi pointed out that the destructive policies of Saudi Arabia cast a shadow on the final statement of the summit.
He also condemned the allegations of the statement on the islands of Abu Musa, Greater Tunb and Lesser Tunb, saying that the falsification of the facts on these islands was "water-shaking with mortars".

أعربت إيران، مساء الأحد، عن أسفها لما جاء في البيان الختامي للقمة العربية الـ29 التي احتضنتها المملكة العربية السعودية بمدينة الظهران.
وقال المتحدث باسم الخارجية بهرام قاسمي: "نعرب عن أسفنا لبعض البنود الواردة في البيان الختامي لقمة الظهران"
وأكد بهرام قاسمي أن البيان مليء بالأكاذيب الواهية والمكررة، ويتغاضى عن أسباب الأزمات التي تعيشها المنطقة.
وأشار قاسمي إلى أن السياسات السعودية المدمرة ألقت بظلالها بشكل واضح على البيان الختامي للقمة.
كما أدان ادعاءات البيان بشأن جزر أبو موسى، وطنب الكبرى، وطنب الصغرى، قائلا إن تزوير الحقائق بشأن هذه الجزر كـ"من يدق الماء بالهاون".
