  Study Shows Pro-BDS Faculty Members Contribute to Campus Antisemitism By JNS News Service A new study by the watchdog group AMCHA Initiative revealed that university faculty members who endorse an academic boycott of Israel are directly contributing to the anti-Semitic activity taking place on their campuses. The study, titled “Faculty Academic Boycotters: Ground Zero for Campus Antisemitism,” explored anti-Semitic activity at universities starting from the onset of the 11-day conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza last May through the end of the 2020-21 academic year. The study found that schools with five or more faculty members who support a boycott of Israel as promoted by the BDS movement were 7.2 times more likely to have departments that released or endorsed anti-Zionist statements and 5.6 times more likely to have a student government that issued an anti-Zionist remark.
