High levels of hydrogen sulfide can corrode the components of refineries and pipelines, and may be deadly in its gaseous form.

الامن الانساني مقدمة: تمثل نهاية الحرب الباردة تحولا استراتيجيا لا مثيل له منذ بروز الثنائية القطبية بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية ، وقد أدى هذا التحول إلى بروز نظام راجت تسميته بالعولمة ، حيث شهد هذا الأخير ظهور فواعل جديدة أضيفت إلى الفواعل التقليدية في العلاقات الدولية لا تقل من حيث نفوذها عن الدول. في هذا المنظور نجد إن الدولة القومية التي سيطرت على الساحة الدولية منذ اتفاقية واستفاليا عام 1648 أصبحت الآن في تنافس مع الفواعل التي تمثل رأس المال العالمي والتي تسعى لإيجاد نظام قائم على الحرية الاقتصادية التامة وفق المبادئ النيوليبرالية. و على مدى عقود طويلة تناول الباحثين دومًا مفهوم الأمن من منظور الدولة . وظهرت في هذا الإطار تعريفات متعددة للأمن تنطلق جميعها من الحفاظ على سيادة الدولة وحدودها وتأمين مصالحها في مواجهة التهديدات الخارجية، وركزت الدراسات على مفاهيم الأمن القومي. ومنذ مطلع التسعينات وفى إطار حركة العولمة والثورة التكنولوجية والاتصالية وتقلص الحدود الفاصلة بين الدول، وبروز تهديدات وتحديات أمنية تتجاوز حدود الدول بل وتفرض التعاون بينها لمواجهتها، ظهرت مفاهيم جديدة ا
