Morocco lose to Iran in the World Cup with the aim of "killer"

"Morocco lose to Iran in the World Cup with the aim of "killer The Moroccan team suffered its first defeat at the World Cup in Russia, after losing today, against his Iranian counterpart with a goal without a reply. Moroccan striker Aziz Bouhadouz scored the only goal in the game, by mistake in the goal of his team, in the fifth minute of the time calculated rather than lost. Iran won 3 points in a 3-0 win over Group B, which will be held later in the day between Spain and Portugal. On the other hand, Morocco's task was complicated by this defeat, in the competition for one of the qualified centers to the second round. The Atlas Lions will face Portugal in the next round, ending their group matches against Spain. Al-Qahtani said in his talk about the match: "Our loss is painful ... ‘Russia don’t have reason to be super optimistic,’ Mourinho warns after rout of Saudi Arabia (VIDEO) 14 Jun, 2018 18:44

As jubilation filled the streets of Moscow, following the Russia’s 5-0 victory over Saudi Arabia, Jose Mourinho sounded a note of caution, while Peter Schmeichel said the margin of victory represented a “fair result.” “Before the match we were speaking about Russians being pessimistic,”  said Mourinho, RT’s World Cup expert, in reference to the muted coverage of the national  team before the opening match. And after one game you don’t have a reason to be super optimistic. Be happy, it’s a good victory and a good score, and goals might be important for goal difference, but take into account that the Saudi team was disappointing.” Egypt is better than Saudi Arabia, and Uruguay is better than Egypt,”  the Manchester United manager said in reference to the next Group A opponents Russia will face. Another RT expert, Denmark goalkeeping legend Peter Schmeichel, praised himself for predicting that the score could end up being 5-0 at half time, when Russia was leading only by two

?World Cup Russia 2018. Do you increase the red cards

?World Cup Russia 2018. Do you increase the red cards A recent study found that soccer referees who use slow motion are the most likely to show red cards. The study came days before the launch of video remodeling technology, dubbed "Video Assisting Rule" (VAR), at the 2018 World Cup. FIFA has officially approved the use of the system at the 2018 World Cup, which begins on Thursday (June 14th). However, the study suggests that soccer referees will apply their sentences more intensely when they watch the slow motion, compared to real time, because the replay videos make the viewer look more violent. Under the VAR system, 4 types of cases can be reviewed: goals, the possibility of an offense, penalty decisions, red card decisions, and the wrong identification of a red or yellow card. The referee will draw a rectangle in the air with the index finger to recreate the scene on the screen. A team of 4 researchers from the University of Leuven in Belgium will follow the respon

Double Champions League winner Mourinho earlier predicted that England would emerge from their World Cup group as winners – setting up a predicted match with Poland in the last 16. The Portuguese believes Gareth Southgate’s men would prevail in that clash – but would see their World Cup dreams dashed in the next round against

In Defense of Bowling Alone---By CHRIS R. MORGAN

In Defense of Bowling Alone There's something exquisite about solitude, away from the din of voices and social media. By  CHRIS R. MORGAN  •  April 26, 2018 RawPixel.com/Shutterstock Most people are either deeply embarrassed about sharing their political views when asked, or suspiciously overeager. If there’s a perfect way to assess just how America is divided, this is it. Ideological and even partisan allegiances are no longer the indicators they once were. Ours is a great Age of Idiosyncrasy. We are all unique; we are all cranks. Some of us are just more vocal about it than others. I suppose it begrudges the keepers of this cultural moment to hear that I am a centrist remnant. I don’t care to know what one’s slant on the world is, and some views are just too strongly held to be disclosed over Shake Shack. So whenever I’m asked about my own views, I’ve fashioned an answer that hews as much to economy as it does to the truth: “I believe in bowling alone.” I have ne

Stephens sees off Ostapenko to win Miami title

https://ift.tt/eA8V8J March 31, 2018 (Reuters) – American Sloane Stephens kept intact her streak of never having lost a final as she defeated Latvia’s Jelena Ostapenko 7-6(5) 6-1 to claim the Miami Open title on Saturday. After a tense first set, the U.S. Open champion reeled off six consecutive games in the second to stop the French Open winner and claim her first Miami title after a slow start to the season. “I wasn’t expecting a title here or anywhere really, I just wanted to make sure I got my game back where I wanted it to be,” Florida native Stephens said in a courtside interview after extending her record in finals to 6-0. The crowd favorite had just six winners to 25 for Ostapenko, but 48 unforced errors by the Latvian and Stephens’ relentless defense were the difference. The men’s title will be decided on Sunday with American John Isner going for the biggest win of his career against Germany’s Alexander Zverev. (Reporting by Gene Cherry in Salvo, Nor

Federer upset by Australian Kokkinakis in Miami

(Reuters) – World number one Roger Federer suffered a shock 3-6 6-3 7-6(4) defeat by Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis in the Miami Open second round on Saturday. It was the second loss in six days for the Swiss champion, who was beaten by Juan Martin del Potro in the Indian Wells final and is set to lose his top ranking to Rafa Nadal even though the Spaniard is not playing in Miami. Kokkinakis, ranked 175th in the world, used a vicious top-spin forehand to wear down the defending champion and claim an upset victory in front of a stunned near-capacity crowd. Kokkinakis, 21, born in Australia to Greek parents, only got into the Miami qualifiers on a wildcard but he displayed the talent that has long had him earmarked as one to watch, improving the longer the match progressed. Federer looked to be taking care of business as usual when he broke Kokkinakis in the fourth game of the opening set. There were few danger signs for 20-times grand slam champion Federer until he was brok

Qatar: The countries of the blockade asked us to give up hosting the 2022 World Cup in exchange for lifting the sanctions Rifat Suleiman Qatar's Attorney-General Ali bin Fattis Al-Marri said Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt had asked Qatar to abandon the organization of the 2022 World Cup in return for lifting the "siege" imposed on it. "They asked us to abandon the World Cup to lift the siege on Qatar," Al Marri said in an interview with the Spanish newspaper ABC. "The general in charge of the UAE Police Department has repeated this. Its readiness to find a solution and lift the embargo on it, it must cancel the issue of hosting the World Cup games in 2022.
