News of new Israeli attacks on Hezbollah and Iranian forces in the Golan
The Israeli Anatolia news agency quoted local Syrian sources as saying that Israeli tanks stationed in the occupied Golan Heights bombed positions of the Lebanese Hezbollah in southern Syria on Saturday morning.
The sources said in an interview with the agency that the bombing targeted the area of Talul al-Hamr north of Kenitra, where a large number of elements of "Hezbollah".
In the same context, heard the dawn of the day the sound of explosions at the Deir al-Zour military airport east of Syria, which is believed to be the result of Israeli shelling.
According to sources in the region, the airport includes large numbers of armed groups belonging to Iran.
No official statement was issued by the Syrian government or Israel regarding the two incidents.
Israel has recently targeted a large number of positions of Iranian forces and its affiliates in Syria.
On May 9, the Israeli army announced that sites erected by Israel in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights were attacked by the "Quds Force" of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard with 20 rockets fired from inside Syrian territory.
Israeli forces responded on the morning of May 10 to this attack with large-scale raids on what it described as Iranian sites in Syria, saying it resulted in the destruction of all the military infrastructure of Iran in Syria.
